Boarding life is in my DNA thanks to an education at Aysgarth Prep School in Yorkshire, five years at Eton and 17 years of directing plays, singing, house mastering and coaching all sports at Radley College. What most excited me about joining Cothill was the opportunity to guide the tirelessly dedicated staff and boundless energy and enthusiasm of the boys towards their goals in life. A day without dog walks, conkers, singing, yard cricket, a little blood, sweat and tears, a good book (a little work) and a cup of cocoa at the end of it isn’t worth living! Childhood needs to be protected and Cothill does that in spades.
