Cardiff Rugby Tour
Cothill embarked on its first rugby tour in over 10 years on the first weekend back at school. The U13s crossed the Welsh border to spend time training with Cardiff Rugby under the backdrop of the mighty Principality Stadium.
The tour was also filled with inspiring activities, such as a tour of the Principality Stadium, training with professional coaches and watching the European Championship game of the Bristol Bears versus Stade Francais. The boys also had the opportunity to put their new skills to use, playing matches against The Cathedral School under floodlights and Llanishen Rugby Club on a 3D artificial pitch. Home away from home was a wonderful hotel, which provided some delicious food and comfortable accommodation to keep our teams well-fed and well rested!
In the words of Bobby Unser, "Success is where preparation and opportunity meet".
The tour was a wonderful opportunity to prepare for the season ahead, filled with lots of different experiences that allowed everyone to bond together as a group and inspire the boys to greater heights.
