Senior Poetry Competition

The school were treated to an impressive final of the Senior Poetry Competition

The standard was extremely high and it was wonderful to see the boys tackling a variety of ambitious poems. The Adjudicator, Mrs Thorneloe was hugely impressed by their performances, highly commending Eddie Harvey-Palmisano and Edward Frost for bravely reciting their own poems, and Arthur Bland for his engaging reading of 'O Captain! My Captain!' However, the Thorneloe Cup this year was presented to Ranbir Chathley for his powerful and captivating performance of an extract from Amanda's Gorman's 'The Hill We Climb'.
